---*-*--Switchfoot in Singapore--*-*---
I have returned from Switchfoot's concert! Am sleepy now.. Haha.. But that does not mean that I had a boring time at the concert! Nono, not at all.. It was a pretty awesome concert! But it might have made a difference if I were in the standing area with some friends, and jumping around and all.. There was so much space! Yeah, the turn-out at the concert is not great at all..
Yet, I'm glad to have gotten the $70 ticket, instead of the $90 (for the standing area)! Can sit also not bad lar.. I'm fine to have gone to the concert on my own.. Getting to sit down made it comfortable for me.. But I was also thinking, "It doesn't really make sense to be sitting while the music was rocking the place!" But Singaporeans are shy lar.. A number remained seated also.. So I satisfied myself with bobbing my head to the music, clapping and all.. And singing along too!
This is my first time having gone to a rock concert! The sound system does make a difference! You feel the beat inside you.. Made me feel kinda alive! But the novelty of it wore off :P
I was not so high during some songs, but during others, my love for Switchfoot's music came to me alright! I don't always care for the most popular songs of theirs, such as 'stars'. It has like the highest rocking power, but that doesn't necessarily get me to like it.. Oh, they played the song 'This Is Your Life'! *happie* Let me name the memorable songs for me.. Awakening, Meant To Live, Dare You To Move, Only Hope. Hmm yeah. Quite a number of heavy rock numbers. The slower ones did not really connect with me.. Why? That's weird, coz I like ballads just as much. Well, beats me.. But one thing I know is, the song I liked most for the night, is the unexpected song, called 'Twenty Four'. It moved me! As in, made me feel touched.. Thank you for choosing to play it, Switchfoot! This one is a slow song, and it sounded like the best song tonight.
The photos below are the best my camera could capture! Because there was too little light. Only got 2 that can pass! Strictly speaking, 1 only. -_-" I didn't even get a straight shot of all of them on stage, because that one was taken when they were already going off stage.. But that photo is still clear enough, because of course there would be light when they were going off.. *smacks forehead* I couldn't see their faces though I was in the first row of the sitting area!
And I just happened to buy the toy hippo (pictures are below ^.^;) today, at a discounted price. I have so many toys already, but I decided that this hippo has a special quality and since it was so cheap, I bought it right away! Its special quality is its HUGE butt. I quickly came up with the most apt name for it. My hippo is named... Big Butt !

"I know you wanna touch my butt! I know it!"
