I just felt like sharing this amazing picture!
Okay, wait. I'm back to include more in this post. This is such a waste. My friend in Adelaide (yes, you get an honourable mention again, Just ;)) also said on her own blog that Australia's internet system limit our download/upload space, and here I have wasted some of that by posting up any one picture without making an important point at all. Well.
I start going for classes next week! I didn't confirm it till I sat down to read my student emails just now. I knew it was going to be quite soon, but I didn't think it was this soon! But maybe this week will still pass slowly... My papa fly back to Singapore already... =( But you know something else? My email also mentions that students are to get a dossier from the school bookshop, and read it before going for the very first lecture. Yes, that's the word that was used, dossier. It's a new word to me altogether! =X It just means it's a reading. I got reading to do even before the first lesson! WOW.
Let me share with you what I'd be doing!
A Bachelor of Communication (Media). That's my program.
I'd be doing the major of Cinema Studies! I chose that over 3 others. Asian Media and Culture. Communication, Business and Politics. Literature and Philosophy. Still, I'm pretty sure I'd do an elective out of Literature and Philosophy! Talked to a girl from China who is going to do the Asian Media major, and she told me she wants to become a Program Director in Korea because she can get closer to a pop group she likes. They always use the term 'PD' in Korean variety shows and well, I know coz I watch them too. Hehe. She might seem to be a crazy fan and all, but she told me all that in a calm manner, like she means it. Interesting. I've read that the media in Korea gives its people freedom, which gives them their success with regards to their music, movies and dramas. This sounds somewhat attractive! But I simply like the language too. It's cute! As is Japanese language. Yet my watching of korean dramas has gotten me more hung up on the korean language, and I wonder how I can learn it... No sight of how I can learn it in school so far.
Alrighty! I'd be going off soon. Taking these four courses in the first half of this year i.e. the first semester:
Reading Media Texts
Editing Media Texts
Writing Media Texts
Intro to Cinema Studies
May look somewhat boring. First three are compulsory, only choice so far is my major. But it's still pretty exciting to be studying this! It already comes the closest to what interests me! As compared with A levels and all... Yeah
Okay, I'm going! Oh, I hate it that my pool of internet usage is drying up, byte by byte. *dies*
3GB is definitely not enough to sustain life.
