Movie project! Movie project! I have come up with a basic plot for a movie on youth! I've often been attracted to movies which portray what it's like being a youth, and I myself have always wanted to film a short movie about youth.. I think I might borrow my dad's video camera.. My brother has got an *ahem* let's just say, non-original, Adobe Premiere software.. Not that I know how to use it though.. Neither do I know how to use the video cam.. yet..
And another thing is, how on earth do I find a CAST? A cast of actors, that is.. The plot I came up with doesn't involve many ppl though.. Make a guess? Just three.. 2 guys and 1 girl.. Yalar, yalar.. Cliche.. But the plot absolutely does not just revolve around a love triangle..
So it comes to nothing again? How can my this idea be put into action this time.. Oh man.. Maybe I can CROSS DRESS? And act as each and every one of the characters.. Lol, pathetic plan =S
I just feel 2 guys and 1 girl would be good in the plot.. Don't want all girls, nor all guys.. Yet in this circumstances, if I am not flexible, how to carry out this project even.. But the film is not about gender issues or sth.. I need the 2 guys and 1 girl!!!

Haha.. Just joking, duh!
I think I actually need this film to be in chinese too.. Coz I get inspired by those chinese films about youth.. Mostly from Taiwan.. Wu Yue Tian is my greatest inspiration for ideas on youth.. Their songs, their mvs, their movies even.. But the movies don't exactly have them acting as the main characters.. Their songs are used as those movies' theme songs.. And they're really great in reminding me of the feel of being young! Yeah, something like that..
The latest taiwanese movie with youth issues I've heard of is "Sheng Xia Guang Nian".. I came across it when I watched the Golden Horse Awards.. And I later found out that this youth movie has Wu Yue Tian's song as its theme song too.. Previously, "Love of May" which had Chen Bo Ling in it, also used Wu Yue Tian's songs as the movie's theme songs.. Nice! Wu Yue Tian is really quite capable of writing songs with the feel of youth, it's like their niche =)
This is not my point though.. "Sheng Xia Guang Nian" has this homosexual element in its plot.. Where this 2 guys are friends who really count on each other to get through their troubled youth, and then they are made out to be somewhat homosexual.. I think there are quite a few youth movies that bank on this homo element? It's like, they include the homo element to boost the movie's attraction, because homosexuality is controversial and this gets more people to know about the movie.. I wonder if this is so.. Those movies don't seem like they need the homo element in the plot.. So it's just for getting attention through the controversy? That would be bad.. Capture the feel of youth is all that is required.. If the homo element is included to attempt to make it so-called artistic and just for one to gasp in shock at, then it's unnecessary.. Then it's also such that the homo issue is not dealt with in depth..
Aiyo.. This post is quite crappy, pardon me.. I'm off to watch tv though! Cya again!
