Ohhhh Yeah! Exams are finally over! :D However, it's still much like every other day.. Nth very much to do.. It wld be nice to have a more refreshing way of life..

My good friend asked me a random question: "What do you want to do most now?"
Me: "..Can you narrow that down for me? Very general leh.."
My friend: "Anything lah.."
Me: "I want to stop studying and go and fulfill a dream of mine.."

And that's really what I wanna do.. All of us are always being told that we shld study hard for our future.. But what I dun get is, why isit always abt the future? Why can't we live in the present? Often, we will also be told sth like "Make sure that you wun regret it in future". So, once again we live in constant fear of the future, but we dun realize that we may have forgotten to put in our best for the present..

All this talk is a little related to the movie I watched today - Andy Lau's 'Wait Till You're Older'. I wish those seemingly deaf movie ticket peddlars wld stop double-checking with me whether I'm getting one movie ticket! I've gotten used to watching movies on my own, and I find solo movie-watching quite enjoyable mah! Maybe I dun have that many movie companions, but it's nt so easy to find another person who wants to watch the same movie as you do, and can make it for the same showtime. And that's especially if you're not at liberty to catch whichever movie you want.. Those stupid ticket sellers.. Dun think that juz coz you're protected by a glass barrier means I cannot get at you.. Wahahah~

Okie, on to reviewing da movie~ It isn't all fantastic, but I confess that I cried while watching.. I'm cry quite easily when watching weepies..o^.^0 The plot is abt a little boy who dreamt of growing into an adult overnight becoz he wanted to run away fr his unhappy home. He gets his wish when he bumps into a weird old man who has made a potion that can help him to grow old very quickly. The story becomes sad because this boy grows old so quickly that he is soon about to die, and only then does he realize that his family could have been a happy one..

Yet another movie about regrets.. But at least Andy Lau's character does all that he needed to do at the end.. But there is still the if-only-i-need-not-die feeling, so the regret is still very much there..

The message behind the story is that 'you only live once', and so we muz treasure our time and live each day as though tomorrow is the day we die.. That's sadistic, but it's a good message lah ^^" Andy Lau himself has quoted such a saying. I think ppl like him, and Stephen King and so on seem like they have 48 hours in a day.. I've always been shocked at the number of films Stephen King has managed to film in his 58 years, and the books he has written.. So many and so damn thick! I think these ppl will have lived lives equivalent to a few ppl's lives.. As in look at all the many things they have accomplished :O

The lyrics of the song that's playing is real meaningful.. The title's nice! It's "I won't dare to do it next time", like sth a kid would say on doing sth wrong. Yet the song also reflects a grownup's regrets for having made mistakes and the wish to turn back time..

!~!~!~!~!~!~!

"Ren Sheng Ke Bei De Shi Bu Ke Yi Cong Lai, Ke Xi De Shi Bu Xu Yao Cong Lai."
"The sad thing about life is that you can't start anew, but the good thing about it is that you don't have to start anew."

- Quote from Movie 'Wait Till You're Older'

p.s. alamakz.. who knows how to display chinese words here?

/ believe in wonderland,
with you in my mind
it's not that hard to believe
i'm in wonderland
and that's where I am
only a place to where we know
and never escape into reality
plunge into a fantasy

just about my love
